AnyWare Group to Provide Innovative Remote Access Solution to VHA Central Atlantic Members

Saint John, NB - July 25, 2006 - VHA Central Atlantic Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the national healthcare cooperative, has signed a three-year agreement with AnyWare Group (AWG) to offer its Role Oriented Access Management (ROAM) infrastructure to members in seven states. VHA Central Atlantic members will have access to discounted pricing and have the ability to trial AWG's ROAM solution within their specific environments.

ROAM is a unique, patent pending "secure access infrastructure" that integrates remote access and identity management. It provides true clientless access to any mainframe, client server, or web-based application through a single, role-oriented portal, tailored to each person's job responsibilities and needs. ROAM is technology agnostic in that it is compatible with standard corporate operating systems, including Windows, Unix and Linux; any type of computer, including Macs and thin clients; and any application within an organization that can be accessed remotely.

"During our due diligence, we conducted an initial webinar with one of our members to garner feedback, and were impressed to discover that the hospital immediately decided to install ROAM," says Joe Sheehan, vice president, VHA Central Atlantic. "Equally impressive was the fact that AnyWare Group had the solution fully installed and customized in a matter of days. That's pretty rare in the health care space," says Julie Adams, director, Clinical and Business Services, VHA Central Atlantic.

Delivered as a managed service, ROAM eliminates the need for customers to acquire and maintain any specialized hardware or software. It provides capabilities, which would require many highly skilled, full time personnel to design, build and maintain, if a comparable solution was to be developed internally.
