MyPCAnyWare
ROAM's MyPCAnyWare allows users to connect to a remote PC within their
network from anywhere. Users can be at an Internet café and have
access to their files, network shares, and applications located on their
PC in their office, simply by accessing an internet connection and logging
into ROAM.
The user will see a new channel on their desktop when they log into
ROAM. To access the PC the user clicks the link and the desktop of the
remote PC appears. Users can then access any files, applications, email,
network shares, or other services that they would normally have access
to, just as if they were sitting at the office.
The setup is quick and simple. The system administrator assigns the
role to the user and enters the PC's name or IP address to connect to
in the user details screen. The user must also have Remote Desktop (RDP)
running on the PC that they wish to access remotely.
Key Features:
- Secure access to any PC within your network
- Secure access to files, email, and applications within the network
- ROAM auditing and reporting will track access to the remote PC by logging an event when the link is activated.
